"Our brother Howard B. Stroud was the patriarch of our family and we miss him now so very dearly. While the rest of the world knew him as a great educator, role model and community leader, we'll always remember him as our big brother Burnett. He was kind, humble, gracious and wise. His many accomplishments during his long blessed life are only outweighed by the amount of people he influenced and who's lives he changed. The fun times we shared growing up as kids in Athens will be with us forever and we know that he is smiling down on us all now from Heaven." - The Stroud Family - Family Photos
