There is a real void in
our community today. Howard was a wonderful, honest, and
dedicated man. We will all sit in the shade of trees
that he planted for years to come. |

The Howard Stroud
Family: I offer my sympathy along with many others. Mr.
Stroud was a gentleman whom I admired and enjoyed my
association with him in the Clarke County School System.
He certainly made a difference in his many roles in the
school and community. |

To the Howard Stroud
Family,
My wife, Stella, and I were very saddened
to hear about the passing of Mr. Stroud. He was one of
my favorite teachers. Not only was he an excellent
educator but also a true gentleman. We admired him
greatly. He will be truly missed. We extend our deepest
condolences to you. |

May God continue to be
with your family during your time of bereavement. Dea.
Stroud will definitely be missed sitting in the deacon
corner on Sundays. It will be hard in the days to come
but God shall be your comforter in the days ahead. I'm
praying for your family. |

I'm so sorry to hear
that Mr. Stroud has passed. My condolences to the entire
family of Mr. Stroud. I was a former student of Mr.
Stroud at Lyons Middle School. During that time, I
always enjoyed going to school. Mr. Stroud was a very
great teacher, he always made you feel the greatest part
of learning in his classroom. Things he taught me was
everlasting. He really knew how to get your attention in
the classroom or out the classroom. He showed much love
and interest toward all his students. As I've grown into
adulthood, I continue to follow the learnings of Mr.
Stroud. A great man of all men will forever be with me.
He will truly be missed by so many. May God continue to
bless his family. A great man has been called home by
God, but his work here on earth will continue to go on
in his name. His work here is done. Now his real job
with God has started on high. Mr. Stroud is one of God's
special angels who will sit on God's right side doing a
great job in the Golden gates on high. Gone in the
flesh. His spirit will live on forever on this side
because he touched so many people in his own special
way. RIP...Mr. Howard B. Stroud. |
